Something from the “Scrap Pile”: Sigrid’s Diary: 30 June 1980, the start of a long Summer of love. - Richard and Sigrid were officially a couple for several months at this point, but they tried to kept their relationship secret mainly because Sigrid attended an all-girls academy that prohibits dating (people were also wary of Richard constantly staying in a house where a single mother and her daughter lived in). This was the longest time Richard stayed with Sigrid and her mother Aina after traveling, which was a great help with hundreds of plants growing in the greenhouse and a large litter of Tatzelwurms trying to invade the backyard again. Richard also spent a lot of time trying to develop new medicine for his patients abroad using Aina’s rare plants - many resulting in failure or being too potent (he actually made a Tatzelwurm repellent that lasted a few days, the base his son Johannes Faustuz would use to make finally one that lasted indefinitely). Sigrid and Richard spent each night of July and August either stargazing in the backyard with the cats Hedy and Odin, walking around the empty streets holding hands, watching movies/TV shows, singing and dancing along with the radio and old Disco records (Death’s favorite music is Disco), sleeping together in her bedroom, or playing the latest video games at the arcade (where classmates randomly saw Sigrid being romantic with Richard). Richard eventually went back to Kiel in September, promising Sigrid he’ll be back as soon as he finishes work at his office. But within a week, he rushed back to Copenhagen after hearing news of Sigrid’s expulsion from school. __ #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #frauv8ocs #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #plants

Looks like Sigrid was caught eying Richard from her mother’s flower shop... - It seems like these two had been becoming more popular according to stats. Maybe because it’s the fact they’re from 1980 (aesthetics of the 1970s-90s are in), look cute together as a couple (though in today’s standards Richard most likely wouldn’t be allowed to date Sigrid since he’s 23 and she’s 16), or that their story is very romantic but also a sad one (they both die within a year from each other, leaving their son behind to be raised by his extended family). Maybe it’s all three? Either way, I try my best to mix things up. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #girl #flowers #plants #window #glasses #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

I also included the line art for coloring; tag #colorthis_fv8 @frauv8 so I can see your work. — Cedrick is taking a selfie with Tricia in front of a Hello Kitty Cafe van. Tricia doesn’t want to admit that she’s just as happy to see an adorable pink delivery van decorated with baked goods only because she’s with someone she thinks is a dork. - Tricia and Cedrick hang out together usually during tutoring sessions since she just started university while he’s a Wunderkind; she’s not doing particularly well with taking tests so he offered to help her study better. Cedrick is 15 while Tricia is 18, so neither one thinks of the other as a romantic interest but rather as distant acquaintances despite Tyrone’s wishes for his niece to like Cedrick. ————— A couple years ago, Arcadia had a Hello Kitty Cafe. I was obsessed with their rose iced tea and mini cakes. But for whatever reason, it’s gone and hasn’t come back. I had seen the van once driving around, but now (the last time I’ve checked) the closest Hello Kitty Cafe is in Irvine. Never been there, but it’s a “grand” cafe, meaning it has more specialty items available. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs #pink #hellokittytruckcafe #selfie #teenagers #boy #girl

Cedrick with his older second-cousins Elizabeth Keiko and Evangeline. - Evangeline “Eva” Kasper-Schmitt is Hansel’s oldest daughter, ten years older than Cedrick at age 25; she’s from Hansel’s second marriage to Martha Schmitt, a woman he dumped his first wife Greta Strauss for while in medical school. Eva is a very quiet young woman who has a passion for history and art; she’s very superstitious and religious, often distancing herself from the Kasper Family. She denies being able to see mythical creatures, but push comes to shove, Eva will only help the family by providing historical records of sightings. Eva has her father’s brown eyes and long dirty blonde hair like her mother. - Elizabeth Keiko “Leisa” Kasper-Müller is Hansel’s second daughter from his third marriage to Heidi Müller, another romantic interest he chased after being divorced from his second wife (Heidi ended up divorcing Hansel after an encounter with a headless horseman at the family estate in Kiel, not infidelity like the previous two wives). Leisa is seven years older than Cedrick at age 22. Leisa has heterochromia like Cedrick, but with one hazel-brown eye and the other the normal blue; her hair is a mix of her father’s dark brown and mother’s auburn. Unlike her older half-sister Eva, Leisa is very loud and energetic like their father Hansel; like Eva, she wants nothing to do with their father despite his unconditional love for his daughters. She’s into martial arts and weaponry, and is working as an intern for the Ströms. Leisa is eager to learn more about the Kasper legacy due to recent circumstances, often visiting Los Angeles to extract information from Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick to the point of annoyance. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #characterdesign #femalecharacters #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs

And I still ended up drawing boy tears.🤦🏻‍♀️ - Yes, the source of Tricia’s bottle of Boys’ Tears is poor Cedrick. She mercilessly picks on him for various reasons, the main one because she thinks he’s an annoying dork and wants nothing to do with him despite her uncle Tyrone trying to pair the two of them together. Cedrick doesn’t think of Tricia as a romantic interest since she’s a few years older than him, but does want to get along to avoid conflicts - he often stuck tutoring her for high school exit exams, if not babysitting Queenie in her place. Cedrick also wants to try being friends with more people close to his own age since he’s a wunderkind who grew up with little to no socializing with other kids. - Aside from the tears, Cedrick has his usual red stud earrings and is wearing something #adidas. He also has his current bowlcut haircut, and his eyes are odd-colored (his right eye is a tiny bit more green than the left eye). - I included the #lineart for anyone who wants to color this pic - just tag me @frauv8 and #colorthis. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #teenboy #boy #black #white #blond #blackandwhite_art #halftone #blackandwhite #bowlcut #mangastyle #adidasshirt

#inktober #flower pic no.13 - #hydrangea - Named so for its cup-like flowers and need for water to thrive, these flowers come in various shades of blue, purple, pink, red, white, and sometimes yellow-green; the color of the flowers are determined by a combination of environment and genetics, giving them the nickname “Change Rose”. They are one of the most popular ornament flower in gardens, but they are poisonous when eaten in large doses. Hydrangeas represents pride, a sometimes negative trait when it refers to being heartless and selfish; they also stand for heartfelt gratitude and mutual understanding, and are given as gifts for a couple’s 4th wedding anniversary. - Hr. Dr. Kasper is often just called Faustuz after his mother, Sigrid Faustuz. She died giving birth, not long after his father Richard Kasper had died while responding to an outbreak in Africa; this left Faustuz an orphan in the care of his uncle Heinrich and aunt Yoko. According to his aunt, Sigrid was obsessed with hydrangeas; the flower also represents how she and Richard were like - not a very a close or romantic pair, but more like “friends with benefits.” — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #pentelpen #tradio #platinumpreppy #platinumpen #fountainpen #marker #markerarr #crayola #midliner #zebramildliner #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacter #femalecharacter

I originally planned to draw 4 more characters, but I’m so tired~😑💤 - Here are the missus: • Freyja Ström 🇸🇪 (Married to Hr. Dr. Kasper) • Asia Williams 🇺🇸 (Married to Dr. Williams) Both are ambitious beauties who married men that most people would be scratching their heads in confusion to figure out why. For Freyja, she thought how Asia and Tyrone met was really romantic; as for Asia, she’s still in disbelief that her favorite TV idol is married to someone she sees as a dork and lacks style. - Freyja was a new student from Sweden when she first met Johannes Faustuz, who was the classic class geek. She grew very interested in him when she saw him read books such as “Great Expectations” alongside science and comic books at the library, and felt pity for him once she found out he was a poor orphan raised by his aunt - so much that she often brought two lunches from home so she can feed him and he can “grow up nice and tall” (he was much shorter than her at the time). The two children grew up in love despite her father’s disapproval, which led her to being disowned for several years until Cedrick was born. So it’s Beauty and the Geek/Rich Girl meets Poor Boy for Freyja and Faustuz. - For Asia, she lost a bet against Tyrone regarding sports, which he had bet to take her out to dinner. She obviously didn’t find him attractive and still can’t stand his terrible jokes, but one day she found out that Tyrone takes care of the grandmother who had raised him while studying hard to become a pediatrician and working at the local gas station. This made her rethink how she should treat Tyrone, and from there the two got married and had their daughter Queenie. — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdesign #femalecharacters #female #women #ladies #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #redhair #redhead #naturalhair #afro #frauv8_ocs
