Tyrone’s grandmother Louella Williams

Both Tricia and Queenie inherited their great-grandmother’s sass and ability to see the occult world, but not her magical powers (Tyrone has no magical abilities or knowledge of the occult community being raised by an aunt and uncle in an upscale neighborhood away from his immediate family); only recently Grammy has been visiting more often since Tricia’s mother’s death and Queenie first started seeing “beyond the veil”.
Tyrone avoids talking about her, often calling her “unhinged”, but both Hr. Dr. Kasper and Cedrick are quite curious about her since they want to learn more about her magical culture for scholarly purposes (they also have Oma Aina whom many ostracize because of her albinism, knowledge of potions, and allowing her daughter Sigrid marry a Kasper).
Like Asia, Grammy doesn’t like Hr. Dr. Kasper - but for different reasons:
Death had attempted to claim her soul in her sleep once (“a brush with Death”) and still remembers seeing his odd-colored eyes leering as she fought him off with her cane; after seeing that her grandson’s friend and coworker has the same odd-eyes, Grammy has always referred Johannes as “that blond pretty boy who almost killed me” (she also doesn’t like Cedrick being around Tricia, often chasing him away whenever she sees him in fear he’ll try to take her soul like Death did).

Freyja technically is a Pesta, but because of cultural changes and her preference to working with her father, she rarely picks up a Rake unless her husband and son really need extra help; she also can’t see souls - only spirits and creatures.
[Grim Reapers in Europe are mostly male now, and as heiress of STRÖM CORPORATIONS & INDUSTRIES, Freyja enjoys being the first female Occult Weapons Dealer in history]

Freyja’s mother Sonja was one of the last Pesta of Norway, and worked as a rare female Grim Reaper until she accidentally was cursed by a Troll with a petrification spell - leading to her slow death turning into a statue (so many Wicca in Europe were killed in the Middle Ages to the point they were almost extinct; very few Wicca are alive, but Enchantresses had thrived because they could hide their magical abilities and not rely on potions as much).
Sonja was also betrothed to marry Heinrich Kasper since she was a powerful Witch, but due to many circumstances, she ended up marrying Erik Ström (this is partly why Erik doesn’t like Johannes - his uncle broke Sonja’s heart; the other is that his father Richard didn’t cure her of petrification, only slowed it [Erik doesn’t know Richard is Death though, so…]).

• Heinrich & Richard’s younger half-sister:
Sabrina “Nina”Vandenberg.
Sabrina was the result of their mother’s affair with an American soldier she eloped with after giving birth to a second son she didn’t want.
Sabrina doesn’t mind her oldest half-brother Heinrich being everyone’s favorite child (she also adores him for his cool & collected demeanor), but like her mother and stepfather, she can’t stand being around Richard and constantly belittles him to show her dominance within the family (both siblings resemble their mother & have the same hot temper).
She also doesn’t like Richard’s new girlfriend Sigrid - feeling mostly jealous of her youth, beauty, wit, & ability to cast complex spells (Sabrina is about 5-10 years older than Sigrid and never went to an academy to hone her magical skills).
• Both Kasper Brothers have been extremely close since their mother abandoned the family for her lover & their youngest sibling, with Heinrich often protecting Richard from their father’s abuse.
Despite their large age gap & opposite personalities, they are often seen together - playing Football when they were children, now sharing beers together as adults at the local pub.
The two had a brief fallout when Heinrich broke off his betrothal and married the woman he loved - forcing Richard to step up and take over the role as the new heir; their relationship was repaired with the birth of Heinrich’s children (Richard would spoil them rotten, giving his brother & sister-in-law headaches from the trouble).
Heinrich initially didn’t like his younger brother’s choice to date and eventually marry Sigrid, remarking Richard is “too old to be chasing after schoolgirls” and agreed with their father that “she’s better off dead” due to her life curse.
However, as time passed, he grew to enjoy their discussions about plants and playing chess with her (he’d always get checkmated, realizing why his brother so attracted to her).

With October being “Spooky Season” with Ghosts and Skeletons, here’s a quick character comparison sheet of Richard Kasper and his true form as Death Himself (The Grim Reaper / Der Sensenmann).
💀
Richard’s fashion-sense is firmly stuck mostly in the 1970s, but he’s been slowly upgrading his wardrobe to the 1980s since meeting Sigrid (their story arc is set circa early to mid 1980s).
As for his skeletal form, he often transforms into Death whenever there’s a marked soul he has to personally collect for Fate Herself; to see Richard as Death means one will most likely die, but occasionally he’ll be merciful and spare his victims for another time (hence “a brush with Death”).
But the transformation takes a toll on his lifespan and health condition as a human, most of his incarnations living on average for 23 years (this was Death’s longest living incarnation due to better healthcare, treatments, and preservation methods over time - which adds to the mystery of how old he was and exactly what age did he live up to).
Sigrid has seen Richard as Death in occasions, and was initially frightened by his raw appearance; but over time she grew used to it and was fully accepting when it was finally time for her soul to be collected.

Light Academia might be too cutesy for the Kaspers…
It’s looking more for the Ström side of the family, though they’d probably be more Cottagecore (which does has a similar color scheme and vibe to Light Academia).
It seems to really suit Sigrid with her love for pink and affinity with plants (especially herbs and flowers), and maybe Hr. Dr. Kasper being a substitute Biology professor.
But overall the Kaspers do fit the Academia aesthetic regardless of the color with their occupations (Cedrick is a Wunderkind, Johannes Faustuz and Richard are doctors, and Sigrid is an academy student).
