Happy October! 🎃
As Summer refuses to let go and give out one more scorcher before finally transitioning into Fall, here’s a cute #nightmarebeforechristmas #pattern done with marigold yellow-orange.
I must say…
It really looks like a wrapping paper pattern…
Perfect for Halloween and Christmas.💀

I finally made it - a chibi Disney Princesses wallpaper pattern.
Idk how long it took me to make it, but it was sunrise after finishing it…
Didn’t include every princess, and I need my sleep…

And finally finished after suffering from fatigue and nausea/vomiting due to a severe migraine…😖
(I get a least one or two a month which sucks)
-
Just wanted to see if I could make something that looks like a retro anime from the 1980s using these two OCs from that time frame.
The greenhouse background is a bit sloppy, proof that I get tired and lazy after a long time.💩
I changed Richard’s face a bit to make him look at his feline-lookalike, and people voted for Sigrid to hold Odin instead of Hedy (Hedy [the black cat] version is the 5th slide).
-
Now that I had made this, I guess I could try making some fan art from the 1970s-1980s anime era (might be time to draw VOLTRON or LADY OSCAR: ROSE OF VERSAILLES).
Comment below to let me know what you think.

Richard Kasper with Hedy and Odin’s last litter of kittens Balder, Thor, and Loki.
Hedy was named after the actress for her dark hair, while Odin was named after the Kaspers’ “Odin’s Eye” ability expressed as Heterochromia; each of their kittens were named after Norse gods based on their looks - the orange one is Thor, the grey one is Loki, and the white one is Balder.
-
As a Grim Reaper/Death, Richard normally isn’t fond of cats having extra lives and often chasing souls away like balls of yarn; but because he’s the incarnation of Death, cats are naturally drawn to him.
Since his girlfriend Sigrid loves cats, Richard’s learned to tolerate them over time - even to the point he lets them sit on him (Hedy actually gave birth to her first litter on his lap).

I finally made one - it’s a pattern!💀
It’s just like the Sanrio characters origami paper I used to get for paper crafts, only with my OCs and their pet Hellhound.
I’m open to making another pattern soon, but not sure what or who…
I might do all the medical characters, mythical creatures, everything Sigrid as a schoolgirl, or even something like a Disney Princess pattern - who knows.🤷🏻♀️

Well… I never got a sixth idol, so I just went ahead and finished these ladies and gentleman up (yep, only one guy this this round of Fan Arts).
I’m a fan of K-Pop but not to the point that I know every name of each idol / artist in each band - just a casual fan.
(I can’t keep up with how many of them there are!😭)
Let me know what you think in the comments below.
(before anyone says anything about BoA, yes, there’s a reason why she’s upside down)

#sketchdump into the 1980s with Sigrid and Richard.
There was a 4th sketch, but it wasn’t going to fit within IG’s square format - it’s featured in the highlight “SIGRID’S DIARY” for future reference.
• Sigrid’s School Uniform.💼
Sigrid attended an all-girls academy run by nuns, priests, and others familiar with the occult and mythical (it’s a mix of a religious high school with Hogwarts).
Her uniform is basically a collared white shirt, a red necktie, a blue sweater or blazer with her school emblem (a red shield with a white cross), a red plaid skirt, black stockings / knee socks, and a pair of oxfords; Sigrid often wore pink leg warmers and jellies sandals with her uniform to add vibrant splashes of color.
• Off to Tivoli Gardens.🎡🎠
Sigrid lived in Copenhagen where one of the world’s oldest amusement parks resides; it was also the inspiration for the first Disneyland.
Tivoli Gardens was one of their favorite places for late night dates to avoid being easily seen by anyone who didn’t approve of their relationship.
Sigrid’s favorite rides were the Ferris wheel, swings, and carousel - which also happen to be Richard’s least favorite rides (he gets motion sickness riding them).
• Human Anatomy Books.📚
Sigrid loved textbooks - especially ones with illustrations and photos - but her school didn’t have many because the principal wanted to teach the “ancient ways without modern influences”.
Since being acquainted with Richard, she had access to the local university’s library whenever he’s working there.
Sigrid favorite books were on botany, but her curiosity had gotten the best of her in regards to human male anatomy.

Finally got to drawing the Marvel characters fan arts prompt.
Didn’t get 6 this round, so I just went on with the 5 suggestions given to me; I also did them in a rainbow spectrum because colors are awesome.

Another #sketchdump.
I’m still trying to figure out what to draw next, but doodling these kind of help clear out clutter in my head…
I might end up making another Fan Arts pic, some DTIYS Challenge, or even try doing a redraw of something if I can’t figure out what to do.
Otherwise, I still need to work on my website and make new OC pics for the “CHARACTERS” section.

About each sketch:
•Richard noticed Sigrid liked collecting fashion ads from discarded magazines, particularly of high-end power suits and dresses.
Even though he wasn’t fond of wearing formal clothes in general, Richard decided to save up to buy an Armani suit to impress Sigrid on their first formal dinner date as a couple.
•Sigrid works for her mother Aina at their flower shop/house arranging and selling bouquets, as well as tending the hundreds of plants growing in the backyard garden and greenhouse.
It was on Valentine’s Day while selling roses when she first met Richard.
•During a school field trip, Sigrid accidentally bumped into Richard during a tour of the local university’s campus; she finds out that he does research there as an Epidemiologist when he’s not busy traveling abroad and killing rogue monsters.
Whenever she needs to do a report or feels like reading on random topics, Sigrid would ask if Richard could take her to the library for resources.
•Sigrid’s favorite things to eat were ice cream and Rødgrød, both rich with cream; whenever she tried to offer her boyfriend some, Richard immediately refused to avoid horrible digestive issues that come from being lactose intolerant.

Emperor Kuzco.
Giving some thought, he’s technically a Disney Prince without a romantic interest in the movie (in the TV show, he had a crush named Melina; used to watch it as a kid).
“Emperor’s New Groove” is still one of my all-time favorite Disney films, and it can play on repeat nonstop in the background while I draw.
-
Since we’re in an eternal quarantine/pajama party, which Disney Prince/Princess should I draw next?
Comment below.🤗
