Richard Kasper’s true form as Death Himself.💀 - So how does being an incarnation work? Death’s essence gets transplanted into an assigned unborn body by Fate Herself and is allowed to live as a human for no longer than 35-40 years, therefore he often lived recklessly for fun (which is why he never married and had children - until he unexpectedly became the heir of the Kasper Bloodline when his older brother Heinrich gave up his title, forcing him to look for a bride). Often times the same families are chosen to raise Death over generations, especially if they have a lot of resources and particular abilities that he finds fascinating (Death has been reborn in the Kasper Family twice before becoming Richard and is fond of their “Odin’s Eye” and notoriously so-called “evil” reputation within the occult community). If Death grows fond of a person during his limited lifetime, he will keep their soul by his side for eternity. Currently he has over 40,000 souls in his personal collection over the 350,000+ years he’s existed, often rotating favorites (one of them his older brother Heinrich). OC Cedrick Kasper and his pet Hellhound/Doberman Frl. Flicka. - The red is really vibrant, but I actually like it since it’s complimentary to the green Japanese and German text - which happens to be the same color as a particular bird that reminds me to take my daily dose of languages (I’m already going “Nope!” after picking at a few lessons of Korean, I occasionally brush up on what little French I know, and I’m almost done with two units of German - a language I just want to scream at because there’s no pattern to the three genders, having to kick secondary verbs to the end of a phrase, the Frankenstein words…🤬Otherwise, I’m actually surprised that I lasted this long studying it). Oh my… This year’s MET theme was based off the Gilded Age, and it looked like a sloppy tragic mess - an “F” for execution and effort in my opinion. There wasn’t not enough puffed sleeves, high collars, pleated skirts, opera gloves, glittery jewelry, bright colors on dresses, feathers and fur, top hats, and not to mention some literally took the “coated in gold” definition. A lot of the looks came from wrong eras (though some of them were amazing, like Gigi Hadid’s quilted burgundy gown), and some looks were just so lazy (seriously - Marilyn Monroe’s skintight nude-colored dress from the 1960s?! Why?!). Some menswear were also spot-on like Ryan Reynolds (mens fashion were a bit plain with waistcoats, trousers, and collared shirts with muted solid colors), but again lacked hats and could’ve had some fun with shoes and accessories such as glasses, gloves, bow ties, and pocket watches. Now who had outfits that did a good job reflecting the Gilded Age aesthetic in my opinion? Billie Eilish (the colors, silhouette, draping… love it), Bad Bunny (the puffed sleeves, structured coat, and collared shirt), and Emma Corrin (the top hat and her coat kinda resembles a “Bike Suit” and maybe a hint of “Flauntleroy Boy”). - So for fun (with a hint of annoyed spite), in this made-up version of the world where my OC Freyja is a famous personality, she and her family would wear something like these outfits in a Gilded Glamour event. This family is dressing up a bit more festive this time around.🎅🏻🎁🎄 (seriously - I love drawing clothing on my OCs) Anyone want to guess who inspired Freyja’s look for the season? (hint: she’s current royalty) Cedrick’s look is very K-Pop boy-band star inspired (he loves K-Pop, Industrial/Metal, and EDM), and Faustuz is what you’d expect some guy from Scandinavia would wear (the Kaspers are from Germany/Denmark and Sweden, so…). I also included basic OC information of each family member; I simplified some info like birth years and heights since OCs aren’t 100% set (it’s more of a generalization/estimation of what I have in mind). Freyja and Faustuz are definitely Millennials (so born as early as 1981-1982), and Cedrick is 100% a Zoomer (he was created around 2006, so it makes sense to make him born in the late 2000s to mid 2010s). And even though their primary residence is around Scandinavia, they’re more associated with being at Los Angeles since a lot of their work is in California. - Mein Gott the holidays are creeping up so fast... Oh… And my birthday is coming up too, but it’s impossible to celebrate it with Kris Kringel and JC taking all the attention so it’s kinda an annoying and depressing time of the year for me. Sigrid with her favorite thing to eat (besides ice cream): Rødgrød 🇩🇰 (Rote Grütze 🇩🇪) Sigrid loves all things sweet, fruity, and creamy, and she absolutely loves it when her mother Aina makes fresh Rødgrød with all the berries that grow in their backyard greenhouse.
