“I see right through you…” - Whenever this Junior Reaper activates his odd eye while casting powerful spells, bones slowly appear as tattoos on his skin. Both Cedrick and his father often wear masks, face paint, and gloves to cover up this effect to lessen the focus of their direct linage to Death Himself (Der Sensenmann) - a.k.a. Richard Kasper. Activating “Odins Auge” also allows them to see through people and adversaries to search their vital organs for weaknesses and how long of a lifespan they have. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #hands #blond #blonde #greeneye #bones #skeletonhands #skeletonhandtattoo #white #black #yellow #green #blue #pink #brown #grey #gray #blink #blinking #blinkinganimation #animation

A quick short of Bertie and Hr. Dr. Kasper. - Bernadette “Bertie” Santamaria-Santos is Freyja’s quirky assistant who also happens to be an Aswang; she’s not a very strong one (she’s at the lowest tier of the Aswang hierarchy), and actually prefers the blood of cows and pigs over humans. Bertie is over 120 years old, and unlike traditional vampires, she enjoys spending time outside during the daytime (she hates computer and phone screens due to blue light). As a Reaper, Faustuz is ready to attack at any moment if she goes rogue, making it awkward whenever Bertie is around for business. He’s also called “Mr. Ström” by Bertie because she sees him in possession of Freya, a lower status beneath his wife. It’s not certain if she knows Death/Richard or that Faustuz is his son, but she can sense there’s something odd about him as “not a normal human“ with “an evil eye” (monsters are frightened by the Kasper’s inherited trait “Odin’s Eye” due to its ability to see their weaknesses). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter

Kaspers usually don’t like cats because they often chase away spirits, small mythical creatures, and souls that need capturing (why they normally have dogs), but cats are drawn to them and show them affection despite their antics. Hr. Dr. Kasper grew up around Hedy and her kittens, and his wife Freyja’s family are known to own Norwegian Forest Cats, so he has a higher tolerance for cats compared to most Reapers; Klimt was his son Cedrick’s birthday gift, but for whatever reason, chose Faustuz as his main human and constantly begs for attention from him. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #man #cat #pink #table #chair #sitting

Tatzelwurms have venom in their saliva (being part snake), and it’ll kill anyone who hasn’t built up a gradual tolerance to it. Richard is relieved Sigrid only got bit once (she’s never fought a Tatzelwurm before), but he would of been inconsolable had she gotten another bite and died before he could treat her with an antidote. Sigrid is excited that their prototype repellent works, but promises to wait next time for another test with Richard around to kill any Tatzelwurm that gets too close. (This happens right before Richard had his trip to Greece to track down a Manticore, and when he first caught Lovesickness after realizing how much he cared about Sigrid despite being Death wanting her soul). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #girl #couple #comic

Richard is excited and so proud of himself for making such a putrid Tatzelwurm repellent; Sigrid thinks otherwise - she’s grossed out by what he put in it and thinks he actually made a girlfriend repellent instead (she still loves him though). Now to test it - if anyone is brave enough to approach a whole litter of Tatzelwurms in the backyard… — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #girl #couple #laboratory #comic

Tatzelwurms are not to be messed with - they look cute, but they’re extremely vicious and destructive to both plants and Reapers alike. They’re drawn to the scent of rare plants and minerals in the earth, causing them to dig them up and burrow nearby to produce large litters. After countless times getting torn apart and patched up, and Sigrid not very happy about the method of extermination, Richard ponders on creating a repellent to keep Tatzelwurms out of Aina’s backyard. Included are previous mentions and encounters of the Tatzelwurm (and there might be more to come). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #tatzelwurm #comic

Richard normally would enjoy getting attention from Sigrid, but being naked and covered with countless Tatzelwurm bites and scrapes, he feels extremely vulnerable - making him embarrassed, sensitive, and jumpy around her. Sigrid was also not initially happy dealing with him locked up in the bathroom whenever she needed to freshen up before working in her mother’s flower shop; she quickly got used to seeing a nude Richard and helped heal his wounds with sample ointments she and Aina made with their plants. Richard hates dealing with Tatzelwurms because of how vicious and destructive they are; he also hates them because he always ends up being a bloody mess after getting rid of them - which led to the invention of his Tatzelwurm repellent. Since he’d be covered and dripping with so much blood, Aina would force him to strip down and rinse off before being kept in the family bathroom to prevent him from staining her rugs inside her flower shop; at the meantime Aina would wash his clothes and hang them out, hoping they’ll be dry before Sigrid returned home from school. But sometimes Sigrid was back before his clothes were done and he was still disinfecting his wounds out in the backyard, which led to awkward moments between the two - especially before they were officially a couple. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #comic

Another #sketchdump with extra notes. I haven’t been able to think up of much with the lack of energy and feeling bogged down… - • Sigrid and Richard often watch movies late at night at the theater for dates. They have similar tastes in genres, but occasionally they’ll butt heads deciding which movie to watch. Also, Richard’s actually wearing something new for once (though he still prefers his tailored bell bottoms over straight legged jeans). • Sigrid sees a photo of Richard when he was about her age. He was a very popular boy in school who enjoyed playing sports (especially football/soccer), singing in choir, and dating girls only to shatter their hearts for fun (how he got the nickname “Playboy Dick”). It wasn’t until after meeting Sigrid he felt pity and a constant desire to take care of her to make up for his eventual taking of her soul (which added to the cause of Richard’s lovesickness). • Richard isn’t a fan of cats due to their antics and numerous lives, but he’s developed a slow liking to Hedy and Odin as they show him affection and gift him souls they managed to capture. (his girlfriend also loves cats, so …) • Sigrid is a bit tomboyish and occasionally likes dressing in gym clothes to make some of her tasks easier. She also works hard to grow rare plants such as mandrakes for their helpful properties and to prove the ancient knowledge she and her mother Aina have isn’t inferior to other magic users. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #notes #autodesksketchbook #frauv8_ocs #characterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalcharacter #couple #man #girl #cat #plant #red #blue #green #yellow #pink #purple #violet #white

And the poll says Cedrick is the other paper doll. He’s basically got a quarantine look and a hand-me-down look (Cedrick likes to look through closets and the attic to find old clothes stored away, ranging from the 1970s to the mid 2000s). Now there’s two of them, a girl (1980s) and a boy (modern day), what other looks should I draw for them? — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #boy #pants #shorts #socks #shoes #shirt #tanktop #glasses #hairstyles #fashion #paperdoll
