Richard Kasper’s true form as Death Himself.💀 - So how does being an incarnation work? Death’s essence gets transplanted into an assigned unborn body by Fate Herself and is allowed to live as a human for no longer than 35-40 years, therefore he often lived recklessly for fun (which is why he never married and had children - until he unexpectedly became the heir of the Kasper Bloodline when his older brother Heinrich gave up his title, forcing him to look for a bride). Often times the same families are chosen to raise Death over generations, especially if they have a lot of resources and particular abilities that he finds fascinating (Death has been reborn in the Kasper Family twice before becoming Richard and is fond of their “Odin’s Eye” and notoriously so-called “evil” reputation within the occult community). If Death grows fond of a person during his limited lifetime, he will keep their soul by his side for eternity. Currently he has over 40,000 souls in his personal collection over the 350,000+ years he’s existed, often rotating favorites (one of them his older brother Heinrich). One soul he keeps by his side almost all the time is his beloved Sigrid, but she does occasionally like to wander away on her own to visit living relatives (Cedrick had always wondered why there’s a pink soul continuously floating in and out of the house for years, so he wants to cast a spell to reveal its true identity). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #grimreaper #death #scythe #souls #blackrobe #typography #gridpattern #blackandwhite #black #white #pink #blue #green #yellow #red

Richard’s true form as Death💀(a.k.a. “The Grim Reaper” or “Der Sensenmann” in the Kaspers’ native language). - While as a human incarnation, Richard transforms into Death when he’s in close personal contact with something or someone that needs their soul immediately removed by Fate’s orders. He’s been able to transform into Death since he was about 22, the estimated age when the last bone in the human body full fuses - making the incarnation’s body fully matured. With each transformation, a little piece gets wasted away from the inside out, leading to an early “death” by age 35-40 and forcing him back into a permanent skeletal form until Fate decides when he can live as a human again - usually once in 1,000 years (Death has been reborn within 150-500 years depending on Fate’s agenda; he’s also been reborn twice before within the Kasper bloodline, giving the family its reputation as “the tools of Death”). Richard was nearing his expiration when he met Sigrid, making her one of his last victims as an incarnation; normally he’s merciless when collecting souls, but seeing Sigrid somehow tugged at his heartstrings and made him pity her cursed condition by helping Sigrid live as much of a fulfilled life - resulting in marriage and having a son with her (in fact, he was so in love with her that he decided to keep Sigrid’s soul by his side after her death). If a Reaper needs Death’s assistance, only his descendants can summon him with a spell that temporarily gives back his human form until the task is done (usually within 2 days, no more than a week). — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #grimreaper #death #man #red #orange #green #purple #yellow #white #black #pink #notes #characterdesign

Death’s Son dressed to kill. 💀 - Hr. Dr. Kasper hates being referred to as “Death’s Son”, “Der Sensenmanns Sohn”, or even “Dickie’s Boy” by the Occult community mainly because it makes him feel inferior and he hates being associated with the very entity that he battles as a doctor (he’s also a Reaper, but prefers to have his victims on good terms and willing to let go of their souls; as for rogue monsters, he’s merciless like all Kaspers before him). He’s not very forgiving of his father being the one who ultimately “killed” his mother Sigrid (removed her soul soon after he was born), or how his abrupt “death” came to be when he was a child (made himself look like he died from a respiratory infection when in reality he was rapidly reverting back to his skeletal form). But being Death’s son also makes many fear him just from hearing his name, especially for those who’ve personally seen Death as Richard Kasper - he was called “Death Incarnate” because of his no-nonsense and cruel methods of collecting souls and killing monsters, often leaving behind a visceral scene and people emotionally scarred (only a very few people refer to Richard as “Playboy Dick” because of his past of dating numerous women before shattering their hearts - some to the point of dying; this is another reason why Hr. Dr. Kasper doesn’t like is father - past lovers had approached him thinking he was Richard). One more major reason why he despises Death is because people would add how much he looks just like his human form and wonder if he’ll be joining him soon since he’s approximately the age when all incarnations of Death “die” (35-40). He’s not quite ready to be an extension of Death Himself, but he’s doesn’t plan to quit his current living role as nephew, cousin, father, husband, colleague, friend, doctor, and professor anytime soon. — #originalcharacter #characterdesign #characterart #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #grimreaper #skullmask #black #green #brown #blue #yellow #red #pink #grey #gray

Sigrid and Richard at her academy’s masquerade-themed formal dinner. - The annual formal dinner is the only time students can bring a potential date to campus (dating is prohibited until they finished school, at about 21 years old; Sigrid wouldn’t live up to that age due to her curse, so she had to keep her romance with Richard secret). Everyone at the academy was shocked to see that Sigrid actually brought a guest with her, assuming she’ll be alone or not show up due to being rejected by her childhood crush Batty and no other boys in the neighborhood interested dating her since she doesn’t have much time left to live. And she didn’t bring any ordinary guy with her - it was the very Reaper assigned to take her soul when her curse takes effect: the notorious youngest son of Europe’s deadliest Reaper “The Black Skull of Kiel” called “Death Incarnate” because of his swift and gruesome method of killing monsters and collecting souls from those who are due. Sigrid also induced a lot of jealousy amongst the girls not only because she was paired with a much older and more refined partner compared to their male guests, but also the heir of the Kasper Family, which despite its dark history is an ancient and powerful bloodline within the occult world (Sigrid herself is descended from a long line of powerful Slavic witches and the daughter of Denmark’s most powerful Warlock, but ended being a Wicca unable to cast spells without the assistance of potions made from plants and animals; she’s also the academy’s headmistress’ stepdaughter). It’s still a night many talk about amongst faculty and alumni over the years since Sigrid’s death, especially when they happen to see her son visiting Copenhagen. — #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalart #ipaddrawing #ipadart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #frauv8_ocs #black #white #grey #gray #blackandwhite #couple #dance #1980sfashion #suit #dress

#sketchdump •Normally Richard hates cats because they’re constantly attracted to him and chase unclaimed wandering souls away like yarn balls (annoying for Reapers, especially when he’s the actual Grim Reaper Death Himself; this is why Kaspers have pet dogs, especially Hellhounds). But since meeting Sigrid (who loves cats), he’s been able to tolerate them more - up to the point he’s attached to the neighborhood tomcat Odin and Sigrid’s neighbor’s cat Hedy. •Sigrid often gets cold whenever she’s out and about. She’s not fond of Richard’s fur coat fashion-wise (she said it makes him look like a wild bear), but as soon as he wraps her in it, she immediately forgets how much she hates it with its warmth and scent (Richard wears Calvin Klein Obsession cologne). •Sigrid’s childhood crush Batty constantly rebuffs her affection over the years, finally up to the point he started dating an older girl from her academy and recently proposed. She initially took out her heartbroken frustrations out on Richard when they first met, but with each visit to her mother’s flower shop, Sigrid slowly became attached to him despite his reputation as a Playboy and true identity as Death. She’s finally opening up, wondering if he’d like to go to the formal dinner with her at the academy (I might draw up something with this idea in mind; and because it’s a masquerade, Richard could hide his true form under a mask…). •And Richard got a haircut… (the resemblance between him and his son really shows once the curls are gone) Because Hr. Dr. Kasper looks almost like a carbon-copy of his father, he grows his hair out long - which is straight and silky just like his mother Sigrid’s. — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs #animestyle #comic #couple #cat #man #girl #pink #green #red #blue #yellow #orange #white

I really liked 2022’s take on the world of Batman - I thought each character was fleshed out enough to distinguish who they are, and it felt more realistic compared to previous versions of Batman. I also thought the actors were great in the movie (screw the “Twilight Sparkles” references to Robert Pattinson - he was a good Batman; he was Cedric in Harry Potter, and I liked him there too). What did you think of the movie? 🦇❓❓ — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #brucewayne #batman #batman2022

Some of my lady OCs. Is anyone a favorite? • Kimiko Abe —— Hr. Dr. Kasper’s timid and klutzy assistant still undergoing nursing courses; she’s often annoyed whenever Cedrick is around, jealous of how well he can draw blood and give shots at one go • Asia Williams —— The wife of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s coworker/BFF Tyrone Williams; she works at a salon, loves cooking vegan food, and makes her own jewelry • Aina Faustus (Aino Hanninen) —— Hr. Dr. Kasper’s grandmother (Sigrid’s mother); she is a Wicca who owns a flower shop in Copenhagen and makes/sells herbal medicine and potions • Freyja Ström —— Hr. Dr. Kasper’s wife and Cedrick’s mother; she’s a TV Show Host/Supermodel with strong ties to her Viking heritage and the Occult • Sigrid Faustus-Jørgensen —— Hr. Dr. Kasper’s mother; she was a student in an all-girls academy for Enchantresses despite being a Wicca (basically the same as an Enchantress, only unable to cast spells without the help of potions) • Granger Rodriguez —— Police Officer/Death’s secretary; enjoys poking at Hr. Dr. Kasper occasionally whenever she’s bored or needs assistance • Tricia Williams —— Tyrone’s niece and one of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s university students; she’s also being tutored by Cedrick to help her keep her grades up for a sports scholarship (she plays Volleyball) • Yoko Kasper —— Hr. And now… Something very different. I just felt like drawing food this time (probably should make a small series of meals like this). This would be something the Kaspers/Ströms would eat almost every day for either Lunch or Dinner - normally their meals are a blend of German, Danish, Swedish, and a hint of Japanese cuisine (since Hr.
