Hallo there - Wie geht’s? I still don’t feel confident with speaking/writing German after studying over 2 years, but I can say my ability to read it has improved to the point I can understand song lyrics (I’m looking at you Rhubarb Barbara - and I thought “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers” and “Shelly sells seashells by the seashore” were mouthfuls). 8/16: Freyja Ström in the style of “NANA” (as well as “PARADISE KISS”) Freyja is the enigmatic and renowned wife of Hr. Dr. Kasper and the doting yet overbearing mother of Cedrick. She is the sole offspring of Erik Ström, the patriarch of STRÖM CORPORATIONS & INDUSTRIES, and despite being the only female among the five Ström siblings, she is the designated heir of the family estate. Freyja, a Pesta like her mother, possesses unique skills, unable to see souls and lacking the ability to wield a broom for capturing them. Instead, she relies on her training from her father, honing her expertise in combat against supernatural entities with occult weaponry. Freyja is renowned for her transition from a teenage supermodel to the popular host of "FASHION FASHION," a widely-watched TV show, with her cousin Einar as her co-host. Before her marriage to Hr. Born to Sven, Erik's youngest sibling, and elder to Gunnar, Einar enjoys a special place in Freyja's heart, their shared interests notably including a passion for fashion and dressing up. Collaborating as co-hosts for the television show "FLASH FASHION," they display their shared flair, while in their family enterprise, Einar's purview is the financial domain. On Instagram I had a poll on what hair colors I should focus on, and of course it was a tie between the pink and blue. 🩷💀🩵 So I ended up switching between all the hair colors as the final solution - and it’s a bit of work to do only to get a few views lol. Oh well… 🙃 I’ll make something else whenever I’m not feeling dead from work… (I actually wanted to do something else with the same song playing, but it’s going to be a lot of planning to make it…) It’s two of my younger OCs Tricia Williams and Cedrick Kasper (Gen Z/Gen Alpha) clad in Barbiecore Pink. Tricia is loving the pink, but Cedrick is way past done with it (he actually likes neon green, black, and orange - basically Halloween colors considering his birthday is in October). It’s also not often seeing Cedrick’s hair in other colors besides his natural platinum blond, though he’s known to occasionally dye half his hair for fun (blue is his favorite hair color). A little practice after almost 2 years being tortured by Duolingo - and I still think I’m no good.🥲 … Well, I’m actually doing good reading German and French, though spelling words without a Wörterbuch is a NIGHTMARE. 💀 Listening is a little hit-‘n-miss, but I’m able to understand some phrases without looking at the subtitles on Netflix. Each language has their quirk and frustrations (i.e. FRENCH with their stupid silent letters, GERMAN with split verbs and 3 “Genders”), but sometimes I’m having fun and blaze through my lessons with ease. (And for anyone wondering, yes I still write most of my notes in cursive - or what some jokingly call “Doctor Writings” because so many can’t read cursive at all these days and it looks a lot like a handwritten doctor’s prescription) - In Sigrid’s pic, some of her labels have Danish in red underneath the German showing how very similar those words are (makes sense since Denmark and Germany are right next to each other). My pics are also cutoff in order to fit the 4:5 ratio, so not everything is in frame (original format for both are 2:3). I had a lot of fun with each color scheme, one being warm and the other cool in tone (the pics are also complementary to each other).
