Felt quite the urge to make this after watching @thebandghost in “Rite Here, Rite Now”...
Yes - it’s done in an art style like that of “Scooby Doo” and anime. 👻
And yes - it’s blue and yellow like the Swedish flag because the band hails from Sweden. 🇸🇪

An art style I haven’t done in a while with a desaturating filter to remove the bright colors…
(original colors can be seen on TikTok)
[Song was featured in “Rite Here, Rite Now” which was an amazing concert movie; so good that I preordered the vinyl version of the soundtrack]

Unlike his father, Death (who is merciless and stealthy when collecting souls), Johannes prefers a more compassionate approach. He offers options and conditions upfront to those nearing the end of their lives, aiming to ease their transition. Johannes adopts a kindly and angelic demeanor to make crossing the living veil less daunting. However, he is not afraid to instill the same degree of fear as Death when he encounters someone who he believes is undeserving of mercy and care.

In a second chance encounter away from Aina’s flower shop, Sigrid confronts Richard, asking why he can’t just kill her and take her soul immediately since her Life Curse is due to take effect in a few years. Richard explains that as a servant of Fate, he only follows orders, even though he sometimes questions her motives, such as why Sigrid was assigned to his care. With each meeting, Sigrid lowers her guard and becomes more curious about Richard, while he grows increasingly affectionate and protective of her, despite knowing his duty to end her life.

Hallo there - Wie geht’s?
I still don’t feel confident with speaking/writing German after studying over 2 years, but I can say my ability to read it has improved to the point I can understand song lyrics (I’m looking at you Rhubarb Barbara - and I thought “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers” and “Shelly sells seashells by the seashore” were mouthfuls).
Anywho, it’s been a while since I’ve posted… And I couldn’t stop playing this song on repeat for some time - in fact, here’s my playlist while making this:
1. 200 - MARK
2. Virtual Angel - ARTMS
3. Shooting Star - Kep1er
4. How Sweet - New Jeans
5. Spell - SEVENTEEN
6. KING KONG - TREASURE
7. SPOT! (feat. JENNIE) - ZICO
8. Siren - ATEEZ
9. WORK - ATEEZ
10. Accendio - IVE
11. Algorithm - ITZY
12. Psycho Killer - Miley Cyrus
13. Candy Hone (feat. Synzak) - XHz Official
14. Past Lives (Breakcore) - sapientdream & Slushii
15. Gasolina (with SMACK) - BEAUZ, Tribbs, SMACK & Yeico X Toni
16. Full Speed (feat. Aviella) - CHYL
17. SPRING BREAK - Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi
18. Dieser Sommer - Tream & treamiboii
This pic is of my OC Cedrick who’s looking more like a teenager again after a period looking like a kid, and looking more like his mother Freyja when he wears makeup (otherwise he takes after his father Johannes). He identifies as male, but Cedrick enjoys dressing androgynous for fun (he’s also a big fan of the K-Pop aesthetic which is heavy on skincare and makeup).

A Grim Reaper and his junior…
As descendants of Death, both Johannes and Cedrick exhibit black skeletal tattoos when they perform their tasks of collecting souls and eliminating rogue monsters. They also possess “Odin’s Eye” - a unique magical trait exclusive to the Kasper Family. This ability allows them to see souls, lifespans, health conditions, and the strengths and weaknesses of whoever or whatever they gaze upon. When activated, their right green eye glows yellow, while the left blue eye remains normal (in many cultures, it is believed that people with heterochromia can perceive both the earthly and heavenly realms simultaneously).

Stern the Amabie has been sneaking out of her fishbowl for some cookies. At least she’s not using Johannes‘ tea as a hot bath - a teacup is the perfect size for her to soak in.
Stern was found by the Kasper’s Norwegian Forest Cat Klimt, nearly perished by dehydration. Though it’s essential she stays in her fishbowl for safety and health, she tends to crawl out to explore her immediate surroundings and involve herself in whatever a family member is doing (she enjoys reading and watching TV the most).

Seeking privacy away from prying eyes, Sigrid and Richard occasionally rendezvoused in the seclusion of the greenhouse. Despite the verdant concealment it provided, one individual they couldn’t evade amid the lush foliage was Sigrid’s mother, Aina. Ever hopeful and enthusiastic, Aina consistently attempted to catch the couple in intimate moments, nurturing dreams of them eventually marrying and starting a family.

Green with the Kasper Brothers 🟢
Green is the color I use most often for the Kaspers because of its association with many things villainous, magical, and deadly (aside from positivity, earthly, and lively- in regard to nature). The Kasper Family has a close affinity with Death, having hot tempers, twisted sense of humors, and being involved with heinous acts in the past - giving them a notorious reputation within the Occult Community as “Evil” and “Monstrous”. Despite their dark history and reputation, positive traits of the Kasper Family are their quality of work, efficiency in completing tasks, and their expression of love and commitment to their family members - especially towards their significant others (i.e. Heinrich gives Yoko a kiss on the forehead every morning waking up; Richard always left small boxed gifts for Sigrid after they spent the night together).
The layout and art style are also a bit similar to those on retro clothing pattern packs.
The stripes on Richard’s polo shirt was very tedious, but overall it was a simple pic to color.

Just another character sheet…
… and I’m still alive~~~
But like a barely charged battery 🪫💀
Life has been bulldozing me hard the last past few weeks - I had to move, a relative I was close to passed away, my commute to work has increased, the house needs repairing and cleaning up…
Idk how 2024 is looking like, but so far I’m exhausted and I’m going to take my time to recharge - even if it’s days, weeks, months before I return to post something.
Social media can take a backseat, and I’m just going to keep doodling whenever and whatever I’m feeling like doodling - Life’s not meant to wasted on screens.

The Illumination Spell, a formidable enchantment that even seasoned Enchantresses find challenging, poses a significant hurdle for magical practitioners due to its relentless drain on Magical Potential.
As a Wicca, a tier considered beneath Enchantresses, Sigrid faced constant scrutiny, compelled to demonstrate her magical prowess to assert her place in the esteemed Enchantress Academy. Despite her status as a Wicca, a lower-ranking Witch, Sigrid inherited her father’s formidable powers and possessed a unique mutation that granted her nearly boundless Magical Potential, requiring the consumption of Activation Potions to unleash it. This exceptional ability allowed Sigrid to surpass her peers and excel in spellcasting classes and performances at Demonstration Debutantes.
Almost four decades since her departure from the academy, Sigrid’s unmatched magical proficiency remains unparalleled among Enchantresses and Wiccas alike.

Not every white flower with thin petals and yellow centers are daisies, though daisies are probably the most recognizable kind and most associated with love since they’re used to determine whether someone likes them or not…
