“The Black Skull of Kiel” and his sons Heinrich & Richard Kasper. Olafur Kasper was the youngest of 3 sons, the 2nd half of identical twins (his oldest brother was named Rudolf and was born during WW1, his twin shared the same name as the guy who took over their country when they were born - making their nicknames Rudi, Adi, and Oli). Olaf was often overlooked by his peers and superiors while growing up due to his quiet and timid nature; it wasn’t until after WW2 started certain people took notice of his skills and made him in charge over his older brothers in running a unit of soldiers involved with the Occult. It was towards the end of the war when he received his nickname “The Black Skull” when he casted a spell to defeat an entire battalion of Russian soldiers at the cost of his brothers’ lives, leaving black burn scars on his face. Being found wounded by US troops, Olaf served time under American authority contributing his knowledge to defeating the Russians during the Cold War; it was at this time he met his wife Ida and had Heinrich. As years passed, Ida’s desire for a daughter grew - which led to the unexpected birth of the new incarnation of Death whom Heinrich affectionately named Richard (he wanted a baby brother instead of the sister his parents hoped for); Ida’s disgust for Richard boiled over to the point she left the family for an American soldier and left the country with him (leading to the birth of Sabrina, the Kasper Brothers’ younger half-sister). Olaf doted on Heinrich as the oldest son & heir, but treated Richard poorly and called him the reason why his wife left (he also despised how much Richard resembles Ida). The whole family filming an episode of “FLASH FASHION” - Freyja’s TV show that’s like a combination of “PROJECT RUNWAY” and “IRON CHEF”: A set of three contestants have to make a fashion item with unconventional materials based on an assigned theme with a 24-hour time limit. It’s not often Freyja has her son Cedrick and husband Hr. Dr. Kasper on screen with her (for privacy reasons and work schedules), but when they do, they use their pseudonyms (Cedrick’s is “Magnus” and Johannes-Faustuz’s is “Jonah-Fritz”). Sigrid and Richard at her academy’s masquerade-themed formal dinner. - The annual formal dinner is the only time students can bring a potential date to campus (dating is prohibited until they finished school, at about 21 years old; Sigrid wouldn’t live up to that age due to her curse, so she had to keep her romance with Richard secret). Everyone at the academy was shocked to see that Sigrid actually brought a guest with her, assuming she’ll be alone or not show up due to being rejected by her childhood crush Batty and no other boys in the neighborhood interested dating her since she doesn’t have much time left to live. And she didn’t bring any ordinary guy with her - it was the very Reaper assigned to take her soul when her curse takes effect: the notorious youngest son of Europe’s deadliest Reaper “The Black Skull of Kiel” called “Death Incarnate” because of his swift and gruesome method of killing monsters and collecting souls from those who are due. But since meeting Sigrid (who loves cats), he’s been able to tolerate them more - up to the point he’s attached to the neighborhood tomcat Odin and Sigrid’s neighbor’s cat Hedy. •Sigrid often gets cold whenever she’s out and about. She’s not fond of Richard’s fur coat fashion-wise (she said it makes him look like a wild bear), but as soon as he wraps her in it, she immediately forgets how much she hates it with its warmth and scent (Richard wears Calvin Klein Obsession cologne). •Sigrid’s childhood crush Batty constantly rebuffs her affection over the years, finally up to the point he started dating an older girl from her academy and recently proposed. I really liked 2022’s take on the world of Batman - I thought each character was fleshed out enough to distinguish who they are, and it felt more realistic compared to previous versions of Batman. From the Scrap Pile: Death Himself (formerly Richard Kasper) keeping a close eye on his son Hr. Dr. Kasper. (2nd Slide from an old pic drawn over a year ago) Death keeps his wife Sigrid, brother Heinrich, and other beloved people’s souls over his many lifetimes nearby for company. Death mostly stays underground communicating telepathically to Grim Reapers, but occasionally he’ll pop up above ground wearing his black robe to personally deliver case files or join in the fight for a little fun. It took a few years for Johannes Faustuz to figure out that his father was Death all along, making him very spiteful.
